Happy New Year to everyone and welcome back to school
and back to art class!.
I am looking forward to being back at OLA
and excited about our upcoming art projects.
We have had a wonderful and very productive fall. A new addition to our 4th and 5th grade art program has been the gift of sketchbooks for every student. As our students complete their assignments in the art classroom they will have the opportunity to get their sketchbooks and draw. This is a great way to see individual creativity in the making.
This winter we plan on having a "Clay Day". Every student will have the opportunity to experience creating something using clay-watch for those great creations coming home!!
Here is a list of our art supplies-please make sure your students have every thing they need to continue on with the second half of the school year.

1 bottle of Elmer’s glue |
|
1 glue stick |
|
1 pr. of scissors |
|
1 pencil sharpener |
place all supplies in a large zip-lock bag and make sure you use a sharpie to write your name on the bag and your ready to join me in the art room
