Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School

For Fifty-eight years, Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School has provided a quality academic program steeped in a tradition of people caring for people.  Teachers caring that a child learns and grows and reaches his full potential.  Parents caring that their children spend a school day in an environment that models the Gospel Values.  Students spending their school days with students of diverse cultures while learning to care for others.  An administration that cares that students, teachers, and parents have a safe and secure environment in which to spend their academic day.  All are welcomed to join the OLA Community to learn, pray, work and serve.

Our Mission

As a people of faith, we join together; students, parents and faculty, to build community in the presence of Christ.

As a people of hope, we work together to instill the knowledge that allows students to seek justice, peace and tolerance.

As a people of love, we come together to promote stewardship and to encourage compassion for all God’s people.

We Believe

That each student has unique God-given gifts and that it is our responsibility to provide a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.

That faith is more than religion class, it is an ever present and necessary ingredient to our curriculum. Through daily prayer, Mass and religious education, we can enhance students learning and self-growth.

That only through a commitment to continuous improvement are we able to assist students in becoming confident, self-directed, life long learners.

That all members of our faith community; parents, teachers, administrators, share in the responsibility of developing each students potential and of promoting the mission of our school.
