Home Types of Services Whole Class Small Groups Reading Groups 5th Grade Egg Drop 2008

Students may receive services from the LEAP classroom in several ways.

 

 

Individual and/or small group activities:
 (Students qualify for small group activities by displaying mastery of a mathematics unit by scoring 100% on a pretest.)

 

Whole class enrichment:  

All students, grades K-5,  participate in whole class enrichment activities on a weekly basis.

 
  Reading Groups:   

 I currently have several high level reading groups from various classrooms. These reading groups are in addition to what is going on in the regular classroom. 

The focus is on contextual analysis, extended vocabulary and comprehension.

 
  Special Groupings and or Activities:  

Through out the school year, the LEAP program sponsors various enrichment level events and activities.
