Dear Parents,
We have had a great week.
We had a great time at the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon! We were all winners.
Thank you to all the parents who stayed and helped us count laps and cheer our
friends on.
The children really enjoyed the Book Fair. A BIG THANK YOU to all the families that donated books for our classroom library. We will enjoy reading those together.
We will not have show and tell next week.
Blankets
will not go home until Tuesday of next week, due to the short week.
Congratulations
to Madison Johnson who was this week's top reader
with 38 books. Madison has won 5 PK points. She earned her way
to the treasure box.
This year Easter and St. Patrick's Day are close together and we will be busy celebrating both holidays.
Our Easter Egg Hunt will be on March 18th at 10:45. We
would like each child to bring ten plastic eggs filled with wrapped candy or
small toys....NO CHOCOLATE PLEASE (it will melt in the sun). If you can have
these in by Monday, it would be greatly appreciated. Any parents who would
like to join us are welcome to. We may need help hiding eggs in the
playground.
We will be conducting some "leprechaun magic" on Monday and seeing what we can learn from our scientific Irish friend. We plan on having a great two days!!!
We would like to request the following items for St. Patrick's Day and Easter. Please look for your child's name and bring in the item listed by the date shown.
